Some amazing shots.

Any idea what the green part is in picture 10? As I have exact same thing on side of a coral

That's actually a little bit of cyano growing on a bare spot of one of my chalices. One of my snails pushed it off its epoxy base into another coral, so its tissue slightly receded.  :?

Re: June 2012-New Pics- My 90G Pile of Rocks

Thanks guys...Currently I am running ATI Blue Plus X4. ATI Coral plus X1, and ATI Purple Plus X1. I also have a DIY 36 LED Royal Blue kit from AquaStyle. I usually keep it on its lowest setting for for dusk/dawn moonlight settings. In these pictures I have the LEDs cranked a 100% with all my T5s. I find the LEDs really add another dimension of "pop" to my corals. My problem is heat, so I still need to make some imprpovements with heat transfer.

Yeah, I'm having a minor algae outbreak at the moment. It's been a lot better than it was a few weeks ago. I am trying to carbon dose with vinegar, just working on dialing things in.
Here's a good link..http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2177315

and very recent article about vinegar dosing...http://reefkeeping.com/joomla/index.php/current-issue/article/116-vinegar-dosing-methodology-for-the-marine-aquarium

I must say that I have seen a significant benefit with the additions of Oyster Feast and Coral Snow. Definetly worth it to me! :D

Re: June 2012-New Pics- My 90G Pile of Rocks

Some summertime woes....

Just an update, that several weeks ago I started getting some random stn with some of my frags. Eventually lost a few of my prized frags. I couldn't figure out what the problem was?

One of my swing arm hydrometers was measuring 1.026 and the other one measured 1.024. I finally broke down and purchased a refractometer and calibration solution. To my surprise the refractometer read 1.033

Over a week, I slowly brought the salinity down to 1.026 on my refractometer. Recalibrated and noticed my new refactometer was off again, this time by .005 so my actual salinity was 1.0021.

Again, slowly brought salinity back up to 1.026. Things still didn't look right, so I checked m CA, ALK, and Mg levels. Ca was down to 330 and Mg was down to 1000. Alk was steady at about 9.0. Finally corrected these issues and things have been steady now for the last several weeks. Colour is coming back and PE is exceptional.

Through all the swings, my leopard wrassed found a very small half inch gap to jump onto a screen covering my overflow. By the time I found him, he was reef jerky. Had him for over 6 months, was eating pellets, flake, and frozen prepared foods. Would actually eat from my hand. He will be missed  :-\

Bottom line- use a refractometer, regularly check your levels, and make sure your fish can't jump

:?

Also I am thinking of thinning out my tank and seriously considering selling off some stuff

I had to cut back my singularia into 3 good sized frags, here is a pic from the mother colony a few months ago,

You've got a great set-up here teabone110, love that pic of your CBB, she's a beauty! One of my favourite reef fishes.
