Looks good Teebone, photos definitely look better colour wise. I bet you are missing the POP look when the RB's were on before :s?

New Top Down Video: My 90G Pile of Rocks

Tried to take a top down video today. You can see that some of my chalices are showing skeleton on the edges.
Not sure if its because I have too much par or too low nutirents?
Also, some of my acros are getting bleached from all the ATI love they have been getting. I might need to swap out a couple bulbs for some actinics.

How do YOU like the new look...hanging fixture and all. Interested in hearing the result.

I am undecided about the new look. The ATI fixture does look sweet though.
If I stay with it, I will probably hang from the ceiling or build/ modify my canopy to accomodate it for cooling purposes.

I did end up rigging together two hangers made out of "reinforced"PVC  to temporarily hang it while I observe things for a while.

I did a DIY hanging kit out of 3/4" EMT conduit and they turned out pretty nice. If you can get a hold of a electrical conduit bender its fairly easy to do.

Looks awesome as always, I remember the first time I looked at your FTS's.. i was mostly amazed by the sheer quantity of nice frags you had acquired in there.. you really have a beautiful tank man!, i need to setup a time to see it in person one day!!

Looks great Tyler! Guess your getting more par be careful it's easy to bleach the SPS. You have 2 choices either raise the light fixture or move those that are whitening to lower areas. Otherwise looks awesome!

That fixture has some power! I have decided to raise the lights up about 3-4 inches. I will see how things go.
Thanks again!

I like your design, seems like it works well.
If I decide to go without a canopy, I will probably copy your hangers, looks pro!

I used 3/4 plastic conduit and ended up bending it with a hair dryer. It wasn't strong enough so I reinforced it with some left over copper pipe I had laying around.

Thanks, I have a ton of frags packed inside my tank, but I will always have room for one more ;)

Anytime you want to swing by let me know. Cheers

That's pretty funny, I was not in the Van, I have staff for that sort of stuff LOL
Pretty cool ride right? 1954 VW double door panel van. We get a lot of looks on that one let me tell you. I restored it myself what seems like a hundred years ago. My general manager drives it all Spring Summer and Fall then is stored for the winter. Believe it or not that thing will do 60mph on the hwy!

Nice.....so is it the biopellets making the difference?

Man you gotta lot of blue clove..

I think its both the pellets and the upgraded lighting. A few of my chalices are receding, but the sps are flourishing. Some spa are getting colour I havent ever seen. Still a way to go, but definetly making some progress.

You want some blue clove?  ;D It's a preference, it doesn't seem to bother any other coral it touches, including my acros.

Looking great! Glad to see you raised your light fixture up! Colours popping out now!

Thanks, I have seen some improvements since I raised my lights, but hope I didnt blast one of my favorite millis too much, it is still pretty bleached. ATI fixtures have some serious output!
