Little update , my sps are doing really well with some color, but it not 100% there yet. Here is some pictures, hope you guy enjoy and let me know what you guy think. Also how I can improve.

I just added live rock this morning, I also added 5g of dirty water from my sump at home. I tested the salinity and is good. This is the first time that I start up a new tank ever! Hope everything I did is in the right direction

Good to hear things are coming around Kevin. I'm assuming the carolinia and the convexa are the ones you got from me? They look good! The PL looks like it is happy. That RR colony that is purple - that looks very similar to the purple colony you got from me - do you have that one still?

Lol, I am still letting them coloring up, however I have a frag the size of the cigarette butt of the ssc and now it have encrusted. I am looking for a piece of rock that are a bit bigger than the size of a hand. I will trade if you or someone else is interested.

Kevin, you assumption re: the carolinia is correct. I'll be ready for some frags hopefully in 12 weeks or so, I'm trying to get my tank up and cycling sooner rather than later so I'm ready for FragFest in the spring.

I like the look of substrate, looks more natural IMO. Plus it helps keep the bottom a bit better

I had mine at 1-2 inches, just make sure you get some nassarius snails to sift through, they help big time!
