I just added live rock this morning, I also added 5g of dirty water from my sump at home. I tested the salinity and is good. This is the first time that I start up a new tank ever! Hope everything I did is in the right directionLooking forward to seeing the cube progress!

12 week, so long. Remember my word with you when I bought your coral is still good.Kevin, you assumption re: the carolinia is correct. I'll be ready for some frags hopefully in 12 weeks or so, I'm trying to get my tank up and cycling sooner rather than later so I'm ready for FragFest in the spring.
I don't know maybe leave it bare bottom for now, what do you think? I am still undecidedKevin, are you putting substrate in the nano?
I like the look of substrate, looks more natural IMO. Plus it helps keep the bottom a bit better12 week, so long. Remember my word with you when I bought your coral is still good.

Thanks Kevin, that is appreciated, I plan on taking you up on that offer!![]()
I had mine at 1-2 inches, just make sure you get some nassarius snails to sift through, they help big time!OK I will put some in, how thick is suitable for the cube, my dt at home is only an inch
