Couple of new additions to the tank. Im thinking this is a T Crocea clam, its pretty big already. anyone know much about clams maybe can help identify? and heres my newest coral, a branching alevepora, both seem healthy but what do i know? lol. anyone got any thoughts on either? These came from Pets 'n' Ponds in Strathroy.

Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

Took some more pictures, im still in need of a better camera one of these days, got some pictures of my mandarins which isnt easy since there constantly on the move,

This is the female, shes nice and plump, out of focus tho.

These next two are of the male, bigger but not nearly as fat, im working on that tho.

This is my smaller cardinal, im hoping its a female as the other one has gotten much bigger since i picked up the pair. 2 different torch corals in the background.

Clownfish laying around in my anemone, this guy got sucked in a powerhead a week or so ago, hard to believe by seeing it.

Heres a shot of a rose anemone, and the rest of the damaged green one (i split it off with a razor blade)

And lastly a full tank shot ( most of these pictures were taken with a fast shutter speed so they are a bit dark but in better focus)

Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

looks good Duke.  I like mandorins.  Im afraid to get one tho.  My pod population is not big enough and im worried about them not eating what i feed them.  Still have not got my camera figured out yet.  Gonna have my camera expert take a look at it.  Hopefully while he is here i can get him to take some good pics for me.

Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

im going to try and train him to eat something other than pods so im not totally dependant on them for food, i do have lots but i feel if i can get them to eat frozen or pellets i'd be much happier, im using a baby food jar and a bunch of freshly hatched baby brine shrimp in the jar  with it tilted downwards like that and the shrimp pretty much all stay in there, this keeps the big fish from going crazy and eating everything before the mandarin gets a chance to feast. he's already ok with the jar and goes inside it to eat within minutes of adding the shrimp, im going to keep this going for a week or so then try and add some bigger brine shrimps(like 3 day old ones) and then eventually progress to a mix of frozen brine and live brine.. and then to just frozen and hopefully pellets eventually too. the jar is a good way to keep the food around long enough for the mandarin to go at it.
