Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

I went to london yesterday and did the whole tour, I picked up some supplies from bill at incredible aquarium then headed over to sealife and met linda, it was my first time there, really impressed with the store, looks great, got a tour which was nice also, most stores keep you out of the back rooms so it was nice to be able to check the whole setup out, grabbed a frag also, then finished off with a stop at the box of water and picked up a nice looking pacific pygmy angel for a great price.. All and all it was a good day for me.

Yes flow isn't an issue at all anymore, I do however get microbubbles, I'm still trying to track down where they are coming from, it can't be my plumbing so I'm kinda at a loss for ideas.. Its on the intake side so possible leaking at the pump itself.. Going to do some work on it in the next few days..

Pineapple Sponge - friend, not foe.

Will over power your sump more then likely, but will run their cycle and go away. Nothing to worry about. They started in my DT for a while, then just disappeared.

That's an awesome and appropriate name, for a sponge.

Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

its quite possible that this fish did have this problem at one time or another in his life, i've only had the fish a few months now but it is 3 or 4 years old and looked like it had a rough life but any damage you can see is just scaring i think. he's heathly as can be now.

Re: Dukes 80G Acrylic Tank

they mummy eye chalice is only a few weeks old.. it has healed up nicely from where it was fragged but there hasnt been enough time to tell how it will grow. the other one i've had since nov 10th and this picture was taken on nov 12. its hard to judge growth because they are at different angles but it you notice the top right eye is right at the edge of the coral.. and now today you can see in the other picture theres at least 2mm of tissue more on the edge. also its colored up nice, it was all green now its more purple and green.
