Thanks. The bulb combination is as 5 x Blue Plus, 2 x Coral Plus and 1 x Purple Plus

Say hello to my not so little friend! Just picked this guy up last week. Beautiful Aussie Harlequin Tuskfish. He is a good 6" or so. I had one from the Phillipeans originally but it ate my rare Blue Squamosa and was afraid it would eat my Ultra Maxima. I ended up selling it off.... But, I couldn't resist this guy as the colour is just amazing and this is the fish I have all ways wanted in my tank. I still have the Ultra Maxima, but so far, it has left it alone. Crossing my fingers it does not eat it as it would make for a $200 snack.  :

I remember reading that you bought some DIY LED actinics. How are you going to incorporate these into your build?

I have them built and am just waiting for the mounting hardware to come in from Fastenal. It should all be in today or tomorrow. I have built 2 x 24 LED Actinic strips on 4ft L x 1 1/2" W aluminum heat sinks. The leds have no lenses on them as I am solely using them to supplement actinic lighting and add some shimmer to the tank. All leds are Cree 3w RB. Using 4 dimmable drivers that run off my apex controller.

The units will be mounted to either side of my ATI fixture. Hopefully I can get them running shortly. I had to make some brackets and spray paint them black and now just need the remaining hardware to get them going.

Here's some pics of my new and improved frag tank. It is a standard 40G short from Miracles. 18" x 36" x 15" drilled with 3 holes. 1 return and 2 drains. The lighting is an ATI 4 x 24w fixture with 2 Actinic XHO strips mounted on the sides. So, my main display lighting will look very similar. Just more leds.

Pics are from using my ipad so pretty bad, but, you get the idea.

Yup. All plumbed into my entire setup. Just easier to maintain that way.
