I just wanted to say how nice it is to have a company that backs the products they sell. Aaron has done an amazing job pointing me in the right direction without giving me the run around like I receive at Incredible Aquarium. When I had the wrong part sent to me for my Skimmer that was purchased at IA Aaron suggested I contact the company directly and I did. I received the right parts all the way from Hong Kong within 4 days and they were the correct "brand new" parts. The parts I received from Bill seemed to be used and were incomplete. I did call Bill right away and sent an email with no reply and at this time started to worry that my tank would turn for the worse. I'm not a company basher but I am very disappointed with incredible aquariums and in this hobby we spend enough money on our equipment and demand that when this equipment breaks down that we can turn to the companies we choose to deal with to back it up. This is not the only time Aaron has helped me, as he's helped with other warranty issues and has fixed them all. This topic is to thank him for the great work he's doing and to acknowledge the work he puts in so that his customers are 100% satisfied. 

Thanks again and I recommend if anyone needs a fish ordered in or a custom tank or any equipment make sure to see Aaron.  I can assure you Aaron will do everything in his power to make it right.

You know, Aaron is a good guy.  No motive except making people want to deal with him, and there's nothing wrong with that.  Except for his questionable taste in hockey teams, he's top notch.  It's unfortunate you had a bad experience, but awesome that you got it worked out.  I think Aaron told me about this a little while back, and  said  "that's awesome, why not post that online??".  He didn't want to at all, and maybe that's why he does so well online, where others have trouble.  Good god, if I had a store and was online it would be a freakshow.  It would be open game for all you freakish and misguided leaf fans!!!  :)


Kudos to Aaron, and I say that only hoping he'll give me a discount on a fish someday :)

Aaron is a stand up guy, if I am in London and need something, I have no hesitation to purchase it from him.  He clearly has a passion for the hobby, its animals and the people involved.  I can't say enough good things about him, you guys don't know how lucky you are to have someone who cares as much as he does.

I think we need to be considerate though cuz he's too nice of a guy, big Al's anywhere never covers dead fish but London does, and I'm sure it comes out of Aaron's pocket as opposed to the company....
Huge plus one, recommend that if you need anything you should go there, support a local store!!

I dont have too much negative to say about Aaron other than the fact that we are somehow related and I dont get family discounts!!

I will chime in with my experience with Aaron. I purchased 4 clowns (not cheap) and came home acclimated them, one had a rough go and was gone the next day, Aaron says send me a picture for proof that's it kicked the bucket, so I sent it over to via text and the next text I received was come I down and pick up another. Which for the price I was very very surprised that they would replace it.

So to conclude, I talk to Aaron before I shop anywhere else for fish. Great guy, stand up, loves the hobby, very very easy to get along with all around great person.

Thank You Justin for the kind words and everyone else who has chipped in.

To be totally honest, I feel it is my job to treat customers well. I know its corny to say but when the customer leaves happy I am happy.

My main purpose is to do whatever I can to keep customers wanting to shop at our store and generate new sales.  When Rick started this site a few years ago I saw a way to do this.  Without this site most of you probably wouldn't even know who I was.  I am glad I have been able to impact a lot of your reefing lives and a lot of you I would call a friend not just a customer.

A few years ago Big Al's London did not have a good name amongst the reefing community around south western Ontario and stretching as far as Toronto.  I spent countless hours on AP as a regular joe reading all the negative posts towards my store and not being able to defend myself or the store I care so much about.

It was a very demoralizing thing to read all the negative posts.  Since then I have been trying very hard to get a better name for our store.  Reading this helps me a lot in discovering that I have made things better.  There is still a lot of improvement that needs to happen but we are getting there.

  Our conversation was about warranty coverage and free parts. I told you YES it is covered, the parts are free, please bring the defect to me. 
  You did not and still have not brought anything to me.
  If I had been given the opportunity to visually assess your defective components, as required, I could have figured out why the problem happened in the first place to avoid re occurrence and fixed the problem on the spot with the brand new parts I have here in stock.
