ok Been a year since i started up salt water again.
Things i have learned.
The frag tank is a great place too meet and learn. Could not have done it with out these guys.
I thank everyone of you for your help.

If i did it again though things I would do differently.
I  would not buy any used live rock. I would by brand new rock and cycle it myself. Trying too avoid any pests.
I would have a qt tank set up from day one.
I would dip dip dip the hell out of everything i bought.
( i do this now, but not in the begining)
I would cut the bottom off every frag i bought, throwing the bottom away and only keeping the top 90 percent.
I would do lots and lots of research before buying anything.
( I do this now, but not enough for a couple of decisions I made.)
I would have the biggest sump and biggest tank I could right from the start.

I think it is almost impossible too stop pests or other things from getting into your tank. I don;t think anyone has a perfectly pest free tank. But I would start out doing more than I did originally.

That being said. I love my tank. It seems to be doing well. But I do have some issues I wish I didn't.

My thoughts after a year.

I think your tank is amazing, in a year you've gone from 2 skimmer less sump less tanks to an amazing sps mixed reef.. Good job man. It's good too see there really isn't any secrets to success.. Just some good common sense, some hard work, keeping an open mind and ear to suggestions and dedication. There's always ups and downs no matter what so keep it coming.
Ps I think we're overdue for a go pro Underwater adventure video in your tank.. I really love those

We all have things we'd wish we had done another way, That's how we learn. Congrats on having a successful tank. If you ever upgrade your system, You'll be more prepared but until then Have Fun.
