Give it time. Your tank is still very young. In time the fish will become more comfortable and come out more and more.

Heck, Buy whatever you want. Most people end up doing that, not many care about fish. now if you were going to the pet store every other week to pick up a new kitten because the previous one died mysteriously then you would have a problem.

If you wanted "active" fish you probably should've went with some chromis or damsels instead of the watchman and firefish...both are known to like to hide in rockwork
