try sticking some mini pellets into the shrimp, and not that shrimp from the seafood medley,,, it looks half cooked..., try again with the fresh clams from the grocery store,, my snowflake loves them,,, i freeze them first... i also give my eel rosies (freshwater feeders) about once a month...
all off the end of a feeding stick

Pellets in shrimp... awesome idea!  Will definitely try that. Clams are the zebra's favourite. Goes crazy to break them open.  Just as well the snowflake doesn't care for them, could be an incident.

most eels will gladly eat raw shrimp. Better for them. Give some raw shrimp a try, peel the shell and break in to pieces, you'll be surprised at how quickly they gobble it down. Good luck ! :)

Actually, leave the shells on shrimp, the chiton is good for them.

+1 on buying fresh clams and mussels and freezing them to  kill off parasites.  I remove one side of the shell and leave the meat attached to the other half so fish can't steal it.  I started to remove one side of the shell after a couple of incidents with eels cutting themselves up jamming their faces  into half open mussels.

Whatever the problem was, the snowflake appears to have overcome it on its own.  Colours are back to normal and he now resides in his normal cave.  I do, however, have a new problem.  The zebra appears to be a bottomless pit!  I had defrosted 5 shrimp (2 about 3", and 3 small salad shrimp).  Fed the zebra 2 large, then attempted to feed snowflake salad shrimp, knowing my scat would steal at least one.  The zebra stole all 3 before the snowflake had a chance.  Any ideas how to feed two eels in same tank?

hold food with pinchers of some sort to distract the one and try and get the other some food with your other hand in the mean time.. lol sounds frustrating.. reminds me of trying to spot feed LPS.. if it isnt my shrimp its those damn snails.. so i try and defend the coral so it can eat.. then the clownfish start attacking.. i just stopped trying to spot feed.. its pointless.. unfortunately thats not an option for you.

The zebra is surprisingly strong, and the snowflake always takes about 60 sec. to decide shrimp is food.  Guess i have to go back to clams for zebra to keep him occupied.
