So just want to throw out there a question on actinic supplementation.

Does anyone use LEDs for supplementation right now? Anyone seen them in action? Will a LED strip make your coral colours "POP" when running metal halides?
Any metal halide bulbs out there make corals "POP"? I dont think so on this one but thought Id ask.

For people that don't have much room for lighting and need some coral colouration in their tanks.

An example would be my tank.
If someone was to hang a 250W MH fixture what colour bulb would you suggest (14K or 20K) and then with VERY little room on either side what would be the best supplememntation when it comes to LEDs because at less then 20" clearence its hard to get T5s in the mix.
Would any blue LED strip make your corals pop or has anyone used a certain strip that works like say an ATI Fiji Purple does when it comes to coral colour.

Thanks Guys!

You want some high end CREE LED's! I only use LED's for all my lighting on my current tank (with LPS and SPS). There are lots of diy sites that allow you to build your own but be warned it's not cheap and if you have no electrical skills it's not easy either.....
