Which Wins? Acan Or Button Polyps?

Have a few nuisance button Polyps encroaching on an Acan Lord and would obviously prefer the Acan over the Polyps. Will one win over the other or will they remain at a stand still? If Polyps will win, I will start plucking them from rock immediately.

Polyp will win eventually, may not kill the acan directly but will choke it out with growth

Thanks Bigshow, I was willing to let them live if they were harmless but you've just signed their death warrant...don't feel guilty, they deserve their fate.
