Where To Get 150-180 Gal Aquarium

Hey guys I'd like to start looking into a 150-180 gal aquarium it's going to be an in wall set up so I'd like a 72 long tank where do you recommend getting a tank from

Any body using a marineland perfecto aquarium what do you think of them

I believe thats what I have sitting in the basement empty (never seen water).
Mine has the black plastic trim on it as it will be fresh water eventually.
Very nicely put together, very thick glass an nice beveled corners.
I got mine from Flavio when he had his shop in Milton.
Plastic corners for overflows.

I've heard they are one of the cheaper ways to get a custom sized tank.
Always worth an email.

Ok great anybody know who uses starfire glass like I say this is going in a wall and so since it was my wife's idea I'm going to run with it as far as I can till she kills me lol settled on the 180 gal just want something nice and good quality is all kinda hard to fix a problem in a wall lol

If you want a custom I'd call concept. I got a eurobraced with external rear overflow, bean animal, star fire front, 72x30 wide x 24 tall. I absolutely love the tank and the dimensions. I I think I paid 1400 shipped. Alberta taxes are only 5%.

Only thing I might do if I got another tank would be to get it 8 ft long lol.

You can really tell when you look through a non star fire side panel. My sump looks completely green in comparison. Go star fire. It's badass

Is there a huge difference in the front pain though this will be in wall and only front pain for viewing

The difference is amazing. If you are going to all the trouble, I think it was only 100 bucks more or something for the starphire. Do eurobraced as well. And rear external overflow. Go 30" front to back and 24" or so tall. You will never regret it.

Instead of the plastic frame with the cross brace, there are 4 pieces of glass around the edges. Then you have no annoying plastic!

Ok great thanks for all the info what kind of lighting do you use on your set up I'm just wondering what I should be using I'm a big t5 fan but I'm thinking maybe t5 led combo on this one

I don't want to spend a million $ unfortunately I'm looking to go on the cheaper side of things on the lighting yes yes I know that's the life blood of corals but I will be integrating in all my t5 s ati stuff I just want to make sure the aquarium has enough light so it will have 8 48 in t5 s on it what else should I add in led wise

The eurobracing overhangs the inside of the tank about 3", and I have a trigger and wrasse and they are still in there lol

I use 2 x 250 w MH in those massive square reflectors. Lights it up beauty. Picked up a couple cheapo LED so I can see in when the big lights are off.

The advantage to a tank this size is how stable it is. It's really not that big though. 220 g. The sump I have is a 125 g, with about 60 g fuge. I will never have a reef tank without a fuge again.

A good quality fixture that has 8 bulbs will be more then plenty.

So we figuring 8 48 in t5s will be enough? I run 6 on my 75 this is a big jump to the 180
