I came home to a dead clown tang last night well almost dead with looked to be like flukes so I put him in fresh water for 7 mins them put him in a holding tank he peped up for 5 mins then died not sure how this happens so fast.....

Sorry for your loss it always sucks to lose a fish.

I might get myself in trouble here but here it goes.

from your previous posts it looks like you have a 75 gal with low flow and undersized skimmer ( you might have upgraded) clown tangs are open water swimmers and need lots of room. Min 180 gallons with no other tangs they also need highly oxygenated water.

I am really just trying to help - I learn from forum's and research and it helps to keep this hobby enjoyable. We get frustrated and quit without understanding why.

i run a swc 160 my flow is mid to high he was fine for weeks eating swimming happy but who knows
