Dry goods - reefsupplies. Fast shipping and best price. Plus you get reward points.

Corals - gtareef (so far)

Fish - not many choice for Torontonian so Big Als (but very cautious). I will try Carls Aquarium for my next purchase since they QT their livestock.
Sustainable Marine does not seem interested on small orders IME.

Gtareefer has some very nice stuff and at great prices and so close to the Dundas strip, just don't take a lot of money

Too bad most of these places are at least an hour drive one way.

NAFB is a nightmare parking! Also if you're not living 30 minutes away the vultures have already picked everything over. I was there once and they had almost nothing took 20 minutes to find a parking spot

I guess for LFS appearance and cleanliness is not important. Hehehe
I am scared to buy anything from NAFB. The saltwater section looks so under maintained. I am worried about catching anything from there LOL.

Definitely want to make it out to R2O at some point.

It's been years since I've been. How are the prices with the exchange?
Worth the trip for the different stuff you can get?

How do you get through customs with corals/fish? Always wanted to order some corals from US sites to my aunt's place in Michigan and have her bring em for me...

Been years, but we would just declare it to customs have the receipts from the store and pay duty.

Last time over niagra falls, went to that fish store and others and had no problem.

The Detroit trip was organized by the brantford aquarium club. We took a school bus over had behind the scenes tour of the aquarium there and then 4 or 5 stores and then customs came on the bus.

To bad someone here wouldn't organize a trip to USA to do a fish store shopping trip.
