What tang is this.

Looks like a lavender to me

They said they thought it was an African tang that it changes colours to blue and silver.

And that they bought it for 400$ a few years ago

Black Spot Tang is probably what they were charged for. This could be it bit lighting and photography are not the best

My chocolate tang gets pretty dark like that when it's spooked

Got a positive id on it. It’s a eyeline surgeon fish. It needs a 250 gallon tank so too big for mine. But if anyone wants it the guy only wants 50$ but needs to be sold by Wednesday as he is moving.
