What Is Going On With My Apex/ Jebao Dcp-8000....?

Okay, this one REALLY has me scratching my head.

I've been using the Jebao DCP-8000 as my return pump for awhile now.
I remember back when I first got it, it stopped working ONCE (ER01)... I checked it, powercycled, and everything has been fine since... Until 2 days ago.

2 days ago, I get home from work, realize my return pump has stopped -- ER01. I figure the thing needs cleaning, but the past few days have been CRAZY, decide I'll clean it on the weekend, powercycled it, good to go again.

Yesterday, I get home from work, again, return pump has stopped -- ER01. Hmm, that's strange, must be really dirty... (but I still don't do anything about it, powercycle, good to go again).

Today, I get home from work, AGAIN, return pump has stopped working -- ER01..... powercycle it, starts working again (I'm taking it apart tonight).

Then... I look on the Temperature log for the past few days on Apex Fusion. It's pretty obvious what time the pump has stopped working, because you can start to see the DT temp drop (I have the temperature probe in the DT).

..... the damn pump is failing AT THE SAME TIME EVERY SINGLE DAY.... (Around 1pm) The pump is plugged into the apex (it's an Apex Jr.)... It has been that way since installation. I haven't changed any Apex programming lately. That outlet is meant to run 24/7. I only turn it off during maintenance, etc.

...Does anyone have the slightest clue what could be causing this? I'm at a loss...

Odd..... Do you have anything else in the house thats programmed to go on at that time? I know its not exactly related but i ran into a similar issue at work where at 1pm a piece of equipment would fault out and it drove me nutts, so the one day i waited there at 1pm to see what was going on and the irrigation pumps turned on and for whatever reason it would knock the controller out. Not sure this is relavant but something to think about that may not be aquarium related, could be power related.

Nothing in the house that I can think of programmed for that time, I don't have a feed mode or fish feeder setup. I cleaned it last night and it happened again today. Going to try changing outlets and see what happens

My Jebao DC12000 and it did the same thing. It would work, then it wouldn't and it started happening more and more frequently. Always seemed to fail at the same time but I put that off as I was starting it at the same time and therefor would work for X amount of time and fail. I had a back up DC12000 on hand, but when I get back to work I am hoping to do the Vectra as well.

how often do you take the return pump out and clean them?

I was every 2-3 months. The problem is an internal fault. Nothing that is repairable, the pump has to be replaced. But it is Jebao, they are not designed for the long haul, that is why I always had a back up on hand. Except for now...and I am a little nervous. I hope this thread doesnt jinx me.

I have one as well and its starting to make a noise every once in a while for a minute then stops the noise and works perfectly. I've had it 2 years and never cleaned it.
