I'm curious what everyone keeps their parameters at. Just did a water change and tested levels. Dkh 8, calcium 460. Ph 8.1. Temp 77. I was wondering if a higher dkh would give me better growth. I'm looking to colour up these corals also. Any advice?

I think you params are all in acceptable limits.

Just keep these stable and feed like crazy! Trying to balance nutrient input and export is the key, i.e. consistently low nitrate and phosphates levels

I run gfo, carbon, and biopellets. I feed very heavy. Just looking for tips or advice for colours

I'm at the same point.  Good colour, looking for killer colour.

Out of 10 corals, 8 will do well, 1 will brown up, and 1 will just exceed expectations.  Seems to be a huge mix of position, flow, lighting and acclimation to the tank.

I'm currently looking into picking up some amino acids, some different kinds of coral foods and just added more lighting (120 LEDs on a 125 Gallon now).

If you find something that works, we'll compare notes :)

Your parameters are close to mine. ALK is 8.3. I like to maintain a level around 8. My calcium is 420 which is what all ways aim for. Salinity 1.025, Mag is 1200 right now. I am getting up to 1350 is my goal. Finally, temp is steady at 79.
