Made a video for my YouTube channel (channel is more for my Koi pond)  but some videos of my tank. Made video to help others in killing Aiptasia instead of buying junk like Aiptasia X or trying all kinds of other methods like pulling large rock from the tank.
I've done this method 4 times now with the exact same effect each time.

Usefull info for newbies.

Excellent video. Interesting. I will try it next time. Did you turn off the water circulation?

Once in a while a find a small one, especially on new LR, frags or corals. I used Aptasia X and it was good. Also a hungry Peppermint shrimp took care of all of mine.

No I leave circulation going as I'm injecting directly onto the Aiptasia.  I hear mixed reviews on Aiptasia X especially for large Aiptasia.  I. E. Made the problem worse.
People can buy specific fish peppermint shrimp etc that help to address these things before they get out of control and that's effective.
However in my tank I didn't want to buy a fish or peppermint to address the odd Aiptasia.
If I was infested due to lack of husbandry and letting it get out of control then I'd consider buying livestock to deal with it.
I hear that when the Aiptasia is big the peppermint shrimp don't eat them. (just heard it but not 100 factual)
My "method" is good for the odd pest that hitchhikes in on stuff I buy.

Thanks. It looks more cleaner method than others. I will try it next time for sure. Anyway if Aptasia is too close to other good live things, then ..... can't be used. The same for Aptaisia X.

Very cool. I have a few and may try this. They are growing with some zoas...
If it's close to other stuff just use a smaller diameter hose or iv tubing if you can find it.  Then you don't have to worry about what's right next to it.  I did it in the middle of a small zoa colony with no issues.

I've just used your method for 4-5 button polyps. Very easy. THANKS!

I will see if they come back to life. I tried multiple times before using Aptasia X on these few polyps but they returned again and again.
