Type of mollusk?

No idea how this got into the system (one of the reasons I love the hobby is how easy it is to get surprised). Only happened to notice it while messing with my wiring.

No ridges, so not a clam?
Fringes on the ends of the shell, so not a mussel?
.... hitchhiking scallop?

I'm surprised to never see them for sale, at least not the marine variety. Between their apparent hardiness and their filter feeding I'd expect them to have a bit of demand, even if they're not as showy as some of the other inverts.

That being said, hand on heart I was looking closely at some of the live stuff in the seafood section of the grocery store recently...
