Good morning everyone. It has been quite a while since I have posted and just wanted to stop by and touch base with everyone. I can see quite a few new (to me) names along with some of the familiar ones in the posts I looked at this morning.

I still have my 160 gallon seahorse tank with 3 adult male seahorses (raised by myself) in it and they are doing very well. They are now about 4 1/2 years old and about 8" long. I am no longer breeding as it became too cost prohibitive so once these boys are gone I won't be replacing them. My plan is to turn the tank into a planted freshwater tank later on once the seahorses are gone but for now I am still enjoying my boys.

I have shut down all of my other tanks as the Hydro bill was way too high and have sold most of my tanks. It is amazing how much money it actually cost to run all of the tanks that I had! Once I can get my hubby to clean the sand out of his 220 gallon tank I will sell that one as well.

I retired a year ago and have been thoroughly enjoying having the time to spend with my family and pursue other hobbies that I have (both old and new). Hope everyone is doing well and it was nice reading some of the new posts today.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)

Great to hear from you. It is pretty amazing how much they can crank up the hydro bill. That is the main reason I switched to LED and DC pumps where ever possible. Just the switch from T5 to LED was huge when you have a large tank. Happy Thanksgiving.
