Isnt there a biopellet that does both phosphates and nitrates ... the all in one pellet ... i say this cause thats what i am using about 210 ml and I found it helps ... not that i am the guy to go by or anything ...

On top of my mangroves and chaeto ...

Had some time for some pics while playing with my Galaxy S6 Edge and view box. Starting to really love my tank right now. I thought I lost most of what is pictured here, but things are coming back beautifully. Loving my zoa garden and will love it even more when I see some growth from my latest 5 additions. Most these shots are top down shots obviously.

Green nepthura. This was cut down to its main stock last year. All this growth is since London Frag Fest 2015

What ever that orange coral is on the rock was completely gone. It started growing back from nothing I could see with the naked eye.

These Duncans had been closed for about a year. Now they open wide every day.

The clam that @Jewel always asks to see. That is a 6" coral plate under it. Nice size clam. When the mantle is out fully, it is well over 8"

I had almost completely lost this red cap growing on and up my back glass. All this growth is new in the last 2 months. I attached the purple last night. Now I really need to find some green local to me to put there as well.

FTS do nothing for my tank at all. It looks 100x better in person.

Not in itself. My phosphates were always barely detectable. I had to run 2 cups of GFO changed every 3 weeks or so. I was also running at least 2 cups of bio-pellets and skimming the crap out of my water. I think I did too much at once. I tested and saw high phosephates and high nitrates, so I did pellets and GFO at the same time. It is almost like I was battling too hard and it was fighting me. Right now I am running 1 cup GFO changing every 3 weeks and pellets have about 1/8 of a cup left in my reactor. I will probably be taking it right offline in the coming days.

Honestly, my tests where reading great, there was NO reason for receding corals according to my levels. Going off on a whim and pissed that no matter how great my numbers looked, things were still receding, I stopped any dosing and started removing any of the extra reactors and such. Right now I dose Bionic alk (20ml/day) and cal (30ml/day) as well as 1 cup GFO with a killer skimmer, some mangroves and cheato. This tank has not looked this good ever.

I think I found it. The photo I took was with the digital zoom of the camera and it is about 12" from the water surface, so a little blurry.

No, it receded along with most my other corals. There was nothing left of it that I could see as of a few weeks ago. Same with a few other corals. I have digi's popping up in a few different places. All of which I though were completely toast months ago. So I guess even after you think something is dead, no harm in holding onto the rock. The rubble it was on was glued in place, so I never removed it from the live rock I glued it to. Grow baby grow.
