So as ALL of you know, I had a 150g tank that leaked, small leak in an upper seam.
I sold that tank very clearly stating it needed to be resealed and did NOT hold water,
When I sold it, there was some sand and salt stain on the glass still.
I sold it and the stand for 125$

I go on kijiji today and I see this -

Now, it's still dirty, was never cleaned so I know it hasn't been resealed,
I send a friendly email to the gentleman ( with a fake address) asking if it's in good condition and holds water
Here's the reply...

I can't believe it..... Please no one buy this and take it home only to find out it leaks.....

He probably just added a dab of silicone to the leak area. I feel sorry for the person who buys this. Someone should set up a meet and offer the guy 125 like he paid after calling him out on the supposed reseal of the dirty tank.

Thing is is just told him it was on this seam, I didn't say where on the seam, and by the look of the salt stain he hasn't filled it up with water to even test it

This is one reason I would never buy a used tank from kijiji unless it was small or fully setup and running to verify.

Lol im.glad we all emailed him..i think i shook him up a bit when i told him i have previous experience resealing tanks lmao and that they need to cleaner than new, then all of sudden his story changed from it has been sealed to someone is here cleanig it and resealing it as wek speak lol.
