Well after talking to every tank builder and scouring kijiji and the forums, it looks like I'm down to 2 tanks. Both are 220 gallons. One is cheap and one is cheapish lol.

I'm hoping to go look at them tomorrow and get this build STARTED

If I go with the eurobraced one I'll be doing the stand this weekend. When the wife's away the keeper will play lmao. We moved a standup freezer downstairs tonight. Anything bigger than this won't go down stairs. Lucky I didn't order a 30" wide.

Woooooo hoooooooo. Drove an hour and half to go and look at a tank. I've been dreaming of a 7 ft or 8 ft as some of you may know. The big problem is physics. I don't have room to get 7 ft down the stairs lol. We moved a freezer down the other night and I realized 72" was as long as I could go.

I've been looking at this tank for a couple weeks. (drumroll please)

It's a 220 gallon miracles. Eurobraced. 5/8" glass everywhere. It's setup peninsula with the overflow on one end. Drilled for a bean animal. I took my flashlight, and carefully inspected every seam. Every edge. And I'll tell you it is beautifully assembled. Every seam is exactly even. Air bubbles are non existent. It AMAZING. I had a hard look at the panes and they are scratch free.

So it begins. A build thread. Finally.
