The Official "Whatcha Bringing" thread for the September Frag Swap and BBQ

OK so the September Frag Swap and BBQ is a go. Here are the details.

This event is open to all FragTank.ca Members. 

Time: Sunday September 25th From noon-5ish

Location: 238 Turnbull Ave. Wallaceburg ON  See Member Map   Click Here

BBQ Food & Drinks: Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Chips, Pop etc.


Buy, Sell and Trade - Some people will only be buying, some prefer to trade and some will be selling. It's up to you what you want to do. I personally will be doing all three.

Transactions - It's probably best to prearranging most transactions for livestock especially if you have to travel a fair distance. Use this board to let people know what you have available or what your looking for. Bringing along a few extras works too, but you can't guarantee that you will get a fair trade or the money you might be hoping to get for it.

Live Stock - I will be providing at temperature controlled spot for live stock as well as extra bags for leakers. 

Please keep in mind that this is just for fun. Not I or TheFragTank.ca will be accountable or involved in ANY buyer/seller disputes.

I'm sure I forgot about something so feel free to ask questions.

London to Wallaceburg (approx 1hour 25min)

Merge onto ON-401 W via the ramp to Windsor/ON-402
Take exit 101 for County road 15/Kent Bridge Road toward Dresden
Turn right onto Kent Bridge Rd/County Road 15 (signs for Kent Bridge Road N)
Turn left onto Base Line/County Road 15 (signs for County Road 21 N)
Turn left to stay on Base Line/County Road 15 (signs for Wallaceburg)
Turn right onto ON-40 N
Turn left onto McNaughton Ave/ON-40 N
Turn left onto Dufferin Ave/ON-40 N
Turn Left onto Chestnut Dr
Turn Right onto Turnbull Ave.

I thought you and Gietz were organizing one with Sams Pampered Pets. If it fell through, let me know and I will put something together this week.

It fell through - no one else emailed Gietz their orders.  Just a thought to do it at the swap - the one swap I went to had a vendor with really cheap CUC - mostly through pre-orders.

I just had a thought guys.  This thread is going to get mighty crammed if everyone starts posting pictures and what they have for sale.  Maybe if anyone who wants to sell something starts a separate thread in the for sale forum for their frags and wares than it will keep this thread a little less cluttered.  Then just post the link to the thread with your items here.

Out of curiosity...if frags are coming from all over, to the bbq, then time chatting, haggling and eating, then driving back....how are they kept, you know...fresh?

same way they are shipped.

When properly bagged and at room temperature frags can last 24hrs give or take.

I might be bringing radioactive people eater zoas 2 frags 5 heads each 20 bucks each
frogspawn 3 head frags 5 available 15 bucks each
6 elephant ear shrooms  each over 3 inches each on large piece of live rock 40 bucks
And prob some other odds and ends just gotta see if i can make it still depending on work shedule

OK Darren is working with Sea Life Central now and he said that he could hook us us with a wicked deal on CUC ofr the swap. The rough prices he gave me were outstanding. I will let everyone know as soon as he sends me the list of inverts available and confirms the prices (probably in the next few days).
