I guess itâs about time to update what Iâm running!!!
I went from a 60 gallon reef setup with no sump when I was living in an apartment to a 75 gallon that was temporary as we moved into the new house. If anyone had been to IA to see Bill you might remember the 120gallon tank with the cherry wood stand that he had for awhile. After wanting it for a long time I finally made the purchase back in February and it was held in Neoâs basement for a couple months (thanks Dave)
until we got the keys to the new place.
I set the tank up in my garage to ensure there were no leaks in it or the plumbing as it was used and it had been awhile since the overflows had seen water. I was originally going to do a basement sump but the wife didnât like that idea to much so I caved. I have plans to change it to a basement sump now because I am losing my mind with trying to fit everything under the stand and doing maintenance. The wife is now on board especially after spilling some top off water on her clean floor LOL ...OOPS :
. So I am now in the planning stages of that happening. Iâm looking at setting up a frag tank inline or maybe I will leave that for another day not really sure.
I made the final move to the living room and the transition from the 75g to the 120g was done in a day.
