t5 light

Am looking for a new t5 light and will probably be getting an ATI sunpower 8x54watt for my new tank.
Found one at reef geeks for $699.
Then I searched for T5 fixtures online and found this. Other than active cooling which will improve bulb output and life, what's the difference other than $350? Can I just put 8 ATI bulbs into this bad boy?

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to use ati bulbs I would bet that the ballasts and reflectors and just overall build quality are inferior to the ati unit especially after looking at the product pdf and they show a t5 fixture with a mh/hps ballast
