Swapping out an mp40 for wp pumps

in my 65g reef i have 2 wp 25s ,, 1 on wave and 1 on full... i ithink i would prefer 1  25 and 1 40.. ive got a wp 40 in my 100g and its great,,

Look I'm just saying, If I had MP40s I'd be glad I had them, Look at all the modes you can run them on. Ya a little noisy over time but you can tune them up. Me personally, I think they're over priced that's why I would go Tunze.I just think that the Jeobo over a long time won't be what every one thinks they will be.  I'd like to know what's gonna happen when some one has to get some customer service fom them. Why would you want to purchase them?. Yes they are controllable Low, Medium, High.

The waves I get from the mp40 are nothing compared to what the wp40 can do, for quarter the price. I could have 2 wp40 and their DC line return pump for under the price of 1 mp40, that's why I want to buy then.  I haven't heard anything bad about their service.

Have u even seen one yet? Yes the are controllable high med low, but they also have 7 modes, 3 constant speed ones, 3 wave patterns and 1 total random more similar to reef crest on a mp40, either the tunze or ecotec sets u back a 1000$ give or take for 2 powerheads and controller. Tunze is a great company with good products and service, mp40's are loud and annoying.. And u said it yourself.. Lots serviceable parts.. Because they break a lot. I haven't heard one complaint about the Jabeo pumps yet..  Anyone with a issue who purchased from fish-street has just been sent a brand new one out in the mail ASAP..  How can u beat that?

So ya it's either 1000$ to get raped by vortec or tunze for the same or less quality pair of pumps imo or 150 for 2 properly priced Jabeo that don't bend u over the table ... Sure was a no Brainer over here..

and don't forget the feeding mode and the light sensor mode,for the cost of one of these its still cheaper than replacing the wet side of the vortec,i still havent seen any complaints of noise or breakdown,not saying it hasnt happened but i havent read of any issues

In addition to all the modes on the controller you can hook up a variable power supply (12v to 24v) to further tweak the power.

Two 25's will be plenty for a 75.  I've got a 40 and a 25 in my 90 and I'm very pleased with the results... the 40 is on wave mode and the 25 is on random to vary the flow.

To be fair one of their big draws is that they have a very slim profile in your tank. And they have no cords that are hanging over your glass.

This is an invaluable addition to those running rimless tanks I bet. Are they expensive? Hell yeah. Thats why you wanma find these bad boys on the used market from a trusted seller.

You still have cords hanging over the the tank though don't you? Just on the outside.  Not trying to knock them or anything - I wish I had a spare grand I could drop on a pair.  I always thought the main draw was the ultra wide flow pattern.

no they r sleek as hell.. most of the pump is on the outside of the glass along with the chord so i assume it would be easier to hide?? .. maybe not if you want the pump on an end or something which would be worse.. i guess ... hmm..,.. , wps.

I control mine with my apex, I hate the motor being on the outside of the tank, pain to clean the glass, the maintenance cost of vortex and tunze is rediculous, I hope jeboe starts selling the pump without the controller, if I can get a couple years out of them I will be happy.
