Just thought I’d post some pics of my sump update
Just to cap, 60 gal sump in basement
Anyway, thanks to Jordan I picked up a 45 gallon tank and stand for cheap. It is now my fuge
So water drains from my dt through a 1” pipe. 50% goes to the fuge unfiltered and the other goes into the main sump via a Clarisea.
Bashsea skimmer is next before going into return pump section where it meets the water from the fuge
In the filtered side of the sump I have it running through an AquaUV
Return to tank is still two COR pumps. I’m about 2.5 times turnover of the main dt
Fuge has some rock, Mangroves and Cheeto in there. It’s lit by whatever I had lying around. A couple Kessil H80s and a couple hydroponic lights
Now just need to add some macro algae to the fuge and sort the dt out
