Just wondering if its possible to keep a mandarin in a true sps tank. With the high flow and low nutrients could the mandarin find enough pods? I assume it isn't possible. The to needs of each collide with each other. If anyone has done this or has any tips, drop a comment.

It would be fine as long as your tank is large enough. Even in high flow, there are lots of pods in most setups. They just hang out in the low flow areas between rocks, etc. Also, you can create a low flow area in your sump for pods to reproduce.

Find an area of low flow and pile some rubble there. Seed that area with pods and you'll be golden! Key is too have an area where the fish cant right into the source

When I first got my manderian every week i would rotate between my 3 pods hotel and place them in my main display to ensure my manderian gets enough pods. Note I only do this at night time when all my wrasse went to bed and I would take the hotel out in the morning.
