Having issue with some sps.

Mag 1400
Temp 79
Salinity 1.026
Calcium 460
Alk 9.3
Lighting is Kessil 360.
Running GFO and carbon phosban.
Filter sock.
Dose cal alk and mag.

Thoughts where to start looking?

NO3 is 5

The first two pics looks like they're beginning to bleach.

Have you increased intensity on your lights or have you lowered your lights recently?

Did this issue happen "overnight" or has this been slowly going on over the past month or so?

Time frame of when the corals were happy to the condition in the picture will help diagnose the issue.

Happened almost overnight.
I leaning towards lights.
Single kessil ramping up to a peak 35% intensity which I figured low enough.
Had them at 30% for last couple weeks.

Zoas on magnetic rack 3/4 down glass to one side are tiny as well.

How long is your kessil at 35%? And how long has your lighting schedule been consistent for ?

I find it strange that I’m your pics your zoos are strecting for light but your sps looks rough ? I’ll be following this one I hope they turn around for ya man , I run 2 kessils in my tank but the 160s

Been trying to increase the kessil 5% every couple weeks.
Running the spectral controller so I’ve dropped it back to 30%
I have some of the same coral from pic one on the sand bed and it looks fine.

Midway down on right you can see same coral.
Chalice seems to not mind the sand bed lighting.

SPS loves light, the more the better, would say as much as possible ... but with a lot of light without building elements they will bleach .
Building elements are coming from fresh water.
All kind of additives are not good because we do not what corals need right now, let's say coral deadly need potassium but we are adding stroncium so eventually coral will die hungry. Fresh water balances back to normal everything that we are adding to tank.
Would try light on maximum + frequent water change (I'm doing 1-2 times a week 1/4 change)
Watching magnesium and calcium usage will be a good indicator how corals grow.

I agree on the frequent water changes to feed or provide the corals what they need but not sure about cranking light up to 100%.
I’m planning to raise a bit every couple weeks but not interested in bleaching them if this is what’s happening.

Do you have any pictures a little farther back? A full tank shot. Just want to see overall coral placement. I already have some thought I just need to see where the corals are placed so I am not just guessing.

Wow this is tough , I personally don’t think it’s your lights at this point looking at your other sps they look great to Me, I honestly couldn’t tell you personally, but I will be watching this to find out I hope someone here can help ya !

So how fast did the corals loose color? Was it over night like the damage (peeling) or was it slow? What is your flow like?

Lost tissue overnight.
Flow good and random. Mp40 up high MP10 down low. Both in yellow random.
