Ok, time for everyone to dust off their nitrate tests! Let's compare numbers on rodi w/salt (if that makes any difference). Adinfinitum is causing a ruckus! ;)

The upside is that it won't kill fish until it is in the thousands so it's just your kids we're worried about at this point.... LOL

Jeff, you have a bit nervous when you tested your ro/salt water. tested mine this morning, 00000. could it be that maybe the filters need to be changed..just a thought..

Dinos are brown and stringy and slimy and will disappear at night and reappear in the day.

Possiblities are seemingly endless! Seems i may have no choice but to empty tank and start from scratch. Funds being what they are (essentially nonexistent!), I would need to sell remaining livestock to do it. Anyone interested in zebra moray, toby puffer, sailfin tang, tuxedo urchin, toadstool, and kenya tree? Would also trade for liverock. I have a feeling my rock is the root of my problems.

you need to see this through, tank needs to regain stability, it looks like cyano in your pic. clean it out, get your params and nutrients in check and give it some time. nothing good happens fast in this hobby, just the bad.

I really think my rock is more dead than alive. Haven't seen any "night crawlers" for months. Hindsight being 20/20, i prob should've started this tank with well seeded, mature rock. Prob had too much die off while storing mine.
