Smelly Rock

My last set-up, I used some Rock that Posiedon had stored for me in his garage over winter, It came from my old 65, Lots of die-off. I put it in a Rubbermaid tote and left it outside for a month, Scubbed it thoroughly and put it in the new tank with new sand, No shrimp, no nothing, It cycled in a month and never had any Algea issues at all.

Hey Sewerat, I think I see some of my old Rock in there. Wish I had that back Duh

Ya some pieces in there, lost a bunch with my fire plastic dripping on it and melting to rock

Plastic won't hurt it if you through it in the sump

Burnt melted frag rack? And maybe the black top ring from a glass box?

If it was Aquarium safe plastic to begin with. Then you have nothing to worry about
