is it best to mix your water and salt a day before your water change?

Hello--I started using IO and then switched to H2O. Ifound with the H2O that the white mixing pail I was using was getting just Black from the salt. When I cleaned it out when I was done the rag would be very dirty. I then switched back to IO.---Jerry

You can geet the IO's reef crystals for $10 more at BA's during their boxing day sales. Comes with higher Ca and Mag so no more dosing them seperately which pays for itself in the long run.

Ive always used instant ocean. But just a few days ago picked up some Red sea coral pro salt. figured id give it a try. Hoping to reduce my need for dosing.
