I don't think it matters where the fluid level is, whether it be at .82 or .85. What matters in that the plunger starts at the 1.0 mark. From there you are adding the same amount of reagent until the colour changes and you mark where the plunger is on the syringe. As long as you aren't completely emptying the syringe (in which case your Alk would be off the charts high) the amount of reagent being added is the same regardless of amount you start with. So while making sure the tip is on tight and fully inserted into the reagent liquid when drawing-up the fluid and no air in the tip, you’re good![]()
