You can try using a blade and scraping it off. Be careful with this method though.

you can also try breaking up the rock that it is attached too (sometimes this is not possible) but if you can just get the rock to break off just sell the ric and the small piece of rock it is attached too for the least amount of stress and damage to the ricordia.

I have a bunch of problem ricordia in my tank.  It is growing slowly around my SPS and stinking the base of various pieces.  Last night I went at it.  Use a screwdriver or something similar to try and get most of the base to come with it.  Then reattach to the desired spot.  Even if you mangle it, don't sweat it, it will come back (likely 10-fold).  If you don't want it to grow where you removed it from, cover that spot completely with epoxy.  I pried off as much as I could last night, then I covered the base area with crazy glue and epoxy to hopefully get it nipped in the bud.  Right into the garbage the bastards went.  :)
