Regal Angel

i finally found a fat fancy happy regal. And I bought it. It's the biggest fish in my tank at about 5". It spent yesterday picking at the rocks in a cave and happily nobody bugged her. They took a peek and moved along. What a beautiful fish. I'll post a pic once she comes out

Have any zoos or lps?? You might wanna watch her and make sure shes not picking at anything. Ive heard of them picking at milli polyps too.

When i had mine it was a model citizen fo the most part... it loved acans and favias tho..left my zoo most of my lps and all my sps alone.

I had one for years, awesome fish. Left every coral alone except for Xenia and Zoanthids. Came home from work one day and almost all of my zoo's were gone......
Left all the sps/lps/clams and inverts alone.
The trick is to make sure its eating. Mine ate pellets at the store day after it came in.

Good luck with her. Have had a couple over the years. One was a great tank ate, never bothered anything. The other, was partial to any and all corals.

He's out now swimming with everyone. Thankfully no issues with abuse lol. He is eating and picking at my rocks. I need some angel food or go get some clams.

wonderful, good to hear, do you and are you feeding nori, my angels have eaten it..

I do once or twice a week. My emperor and even my blue throat trigger snack on it!

Try to find a food tht is high in sponge, thats one of the main parts of a angels diet.

I was reading along and saw your suggestion about the food Riley and it reminded me I needed to look for some as my husband just bought an Emperor Angel. Does anyone know where a good food can be sourced? I looked on Google and found one called Hikari Mega-Marine Angel but then couldn't find a source to buy it from in Ontario. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right areas.
