Reeflink Assistance

reeflink is all white when power connected. First question 1) when connecting USB to computer for setup after it asks for your Ecotech I’d should you have it connected to power as well? 2) any idea why it’s stuck at the “please connect your reeflink with a usb cable”

Sounds like it needs to be reset.

1. Power down the ReefLink, unplug anything connected to Reeflink
2. Sign into EcoSmart Live using either Google Chrome or Safari
3. Select the “Menu” button then “Manage ReefLinks”
4. Click the ReefLink icon then “Remove” and “Yes”
5. Connect via USB only to your computer
6. Open the ReefLink setup Application
7. Select “Format SD” from the dropdown menu
8. The ReefLink LED ring will turn white once complete
9. Select “Factory Reset” from the drop down
10. Select the “Setup” button to re-configure your ReefLink

Thanks torx that was the first thing I tried last night without success so thought I would ask but after calling Ecotech it may seem that the error lies with the USB cable I’m using

Got it. Hopefully it is all sorted then. I love mine. Makes it so easy to control my 2 MP40QD's, 2 Radion XR30 Pro's and MP10QD. I am still looking to add a XR15, L1 and maybe S1 to my set ups. I have to get back to work first though.
