Does anybody else ever make potentially terrible reef decisions after more than a couple beers? If so let's here the stories....

My lady is out for the night, so I got a six pack. And after 5 beers I decided that it would be a great idea to move a couple of corals around.... time will tell how poor or great of a decision this was, but right now I'm not feeling super happy about it lol...

So please share your RUI stories and put a smile on my face lol.

Lol nice. Thanks guys! I have a Monti setosa that became about 3 different frags over a year ago.... lol.

I'm thinking this latest round of moves might not have been so bad after all. I think/hope I saved a couple acros from being destroyed by softies.

So guilty of this... most recently had a massive rockslide on my 72 gallon that almost crushed all of my corals but somehow fixed it that night (Believe when I got back from watching the grey cup). Also, last year we were having a huge party at my place and there were kegs involved. Still unsure exactly how it happened but I lost the siphon in the drain on my 8 gallon nano and pumped the entire 10 gallon sump on to my floor. Went in to my room to find a pond on my floor. Again, somehow there were no casualties and everything survived. I now have a strict rule to not touch my tanks while i'm drunk unless it's an emergency lol.

I had a bunch of people over a few months ago, and things were going good until someone asked me how do I remove fish out of the tank. One thing led to another and before I knew it, our comeptitive nature came out (my friends and I bet on EVERYTHING from mini golf to who can eat more at Mandarin) and we were betting shots on who could catch one of the clown fish within an alotted time period. If you managed to net him, the other three guys would take a shot, if you couldn't then you took one. I think the time period was 2 minutes. There was water all over the floor and nobody caught a damn thing but we managed to knock over pretty much every coral in the tank and the net was floating at the bottom the next morning (thank god none of the fish got stuck in it over night) All I really remember was we were hooting and hollering and tapping on the glass so the fish would swim away whenever it was the other guys turn cause we didn't really need to take any more shots than we already had....
