Redoing A Sump.

So i needed to take out a cpl baffles to make room.for this monster of a skimmer lol. 1. Question. Do i need to make sure there is no residuals like when resealing a tank, or is that just for leak issues. 2. How close can baffles be together?? Thanks.

Yes to residualssealing are just an issue for leaks and sealing.

About an inch is recommended minimum spacing for bubble trap baffles so it won't clog and you can get something in to clean if necessary.
