Well I was asked to post my tank so here it is. I live in Thunder Bay and unfortunately livestock including corals and fish, inverts and oddities are tough to come by here with no LFS so everything is purchased online.
My equipment: I run 3 X Aqua Illumination Hydra HD 26 lights, my return is the Ecotech Vectra M1, Reef Octopus Elite 150 SSS skimmer, Apex controler that runs 2 WAV powerheads, 2 Enheim heaters, BRS doser for alk and I run Kalkwasser in my top-off water for calcium. For bio media I run 2 Gallons of Marine Pure and Siporax. I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt as a religion. I run a GFO reactor and use a little carbon along with Purigen hanging in my sump. Keep my sump dark... no lights.
For livestock: Yellow tang, hippo tang, 6 spot sleeper goby, 3 blue chromis, pair of lyretail anthias as well as a pair of fairy anthias, purple firefish, pygmy angel, maroon clown, blue-legged and scarlet hermits (50), mix of different snails (50), conch......
Corals: too much to list....
Parameters test weekly: Cal 450, Alk 10, Mg 1350-1400, NO3 trace, PO4 0.
