Hey All,

I have been just following your forum here for awhile now, great site with some great knowledgable people!
Just curious if anybody has ever used an adhesive called Rapid Fix? I bought some yesterday lol I have to admit it was bought because of a good gut feeling;-). Anyway I see that it is a Cyanoacrylate adhesive and I think it should be save in my reef but I am not 100% sure. Has anybody used it or have any knowledge about it?

Thanks
Jonn

as far as I can see from the spec sheet it is no different than superglue with a 2nd part filler that isn't needed to use unless filling gaps

I was thinking the same thing except I wonder how they can guarantee that it won't harden in the bottle for a year. I have a heck of a time with that.

Cyanoacrylates (i.e. super glue, krazy glue, instant glue) are curing when in contact with water, basically moisture from the air. In an air tight container it should be Okay for long term.

This is the reason why superglue bonds faster on skin. It takes the water from it and cures instantly on fingers.
