R/O Units

Hi guy's, looking at making a sort of large purchase. I am looking at get a new R/O unit just because unit I have now is old and needs new everything and I believe it only does 25 Gal./day.
I am looking at 2 units.

1. Spectrapure MaxCap 180

2. Vertex Duluxe Puratek 100

OK so I am looking for some feed back on these units Pros. and Cons. if any and if they worth the $$$$ they are asking.

if you change your flow resticter on your current system you can have a 100gpd system when you change out the ilters and membrane

I have the vertex one.  Love it.  Less waste water. The booster pump is great.

I agree with Dave, I've got the same one, best Reef related product that I've bought.

I have a household unit that I bought years ago for $300 and then last year bought the DI-add on from BRS.  The until makes 75gpd and provides our home with all the RO drinking water we can drink including a 5 gallon reservoir , plus makes all the RODI water for our ATO and water changes our 75gal and 29gal tanks need.

vertex here, best one for the dollar, quality is exceptional and there great on the customer support side. the restricter somehow was messed up in my unit[debris in it] and they gave me a new unit no hassel ;D

Well thanks guys I guess I will be going with Vertex. From what I have read hear and seen on YouTube it seems to be the best bang for the buck and simple with the auto shut off and auto flush and the pump to boot.
