I spent some time in front of the tank last night and realized my DT is Aiptasia free!!!!
Honestly, in the 23 years I've been in this hobby. This is the first time I've ever said that!!!!
The CBB is a model citizen. Constantly picking at my rock work and obviously at the aiptasias, but I never see him even stop to look at my clams, LPS or any other corals. The only other thing I notice is that I need to constantly be feeding him or he begins to lose a bit of weight. Also if you like tube worms or feather dusters in your tank. Don't get a CBB. In my tank, behind my corner cement structure. There used to be hundreds of little tube worms. But now, none!
I'm still in shock at the fact my DT if Aiptasia free. Hell must be starting to freeze over or something

My CBB is doing a fantastic job as well and very few Aiptasia are left about 5 or so. After 28 years I am almost at the point I am finally rid of those devils!!
I remember the first day I got an Aiptasia on a rock and thought to myself meh they look nice how bad can they be?!? They are like the borg and destroy everything in their path relentlessly. Man did they make me eat my words over and over again. Take that Aiptasia Devil spawn!!

I was just thinking back to those days too. Back in the late 80's and early 90's. I even remember that conversation.

I tried a cbb years ago and it didn't do a thing to them. Then it got eaten by that big green carpet anemone I had, the arm/ fish eater. lol
