Question For Sps Fraggers

Hey everyone , was wondering if after you clip some sps , do you guys dip them ? I use coral revive after fragging softy’s and what not (works well) Would you guys dip them after fragging or toss them back in the tank?

I do not dip my fresh frags... I just glue them to a rock or frag plug and toss back in

I think the only reason people dipped sps from their own tank are to get rid of pest, soooo what you got . However if you like to dip than tank water and just a little bit of idione, but not necessary. Cut>glue>drop and done

People dip after a frag session from their own tank to help avoid any bacteria infections.

Thanks guys. Yeah no pests , but I did buy a bottle of the revive because I hear it’s good for bacteria as @TORX mentioned (could come from anything )

The only time I dip after I frag is if the coral is dying and I am fragging in hope of saving a piece. I find it a little stressful on the new frag. Some of the more sensitive ones don't tolerate it very much and you increase the chances of die off.

cut glue and that's it here. I only dip new corals from other tanks.
