Does anyone have, use one of these to clean substrate?
Does it work well or is it weak?
I would need the 50 ft model
I've watched a bunch of videos but it looks weak.

I use it regularly, not bad at all, it can actually suck out a lot of the finer sand if not careful, gets all the shat and locked in bottom sand bed gunk, "shit"

I use one sometimes. The thing you I’ve to watch out for is if you suck up sand or other substrate it gents to clog up at the sink, so maybe slow down the siphon. Then you have to take the hose back to the sink and reverse it to push out the substrate or whatever else you sucked up. It is more of a fresh water tool as you can push freshwater back in. But makes a good siphon and cleans rocks well. You can also control
The flow using the control
Valve near the hand piece. I use it to clean my sump out too.

I'm looking to get away from the pails, I do 3 to 6 pails at a time, to much sloshing and hauling to the sink
