Potential Concern

It’s seems salt for me is becoming “out of stock” I use aquaforest reef salt (I like the box) and always got it from reefsupplies.. but I emailed them and they are not to sure when it’ll be back in stock they told me. This because of COVID mostly I assume ? Even amazon is out of that salt and some others..

I too just switch from Aquaforest to Red Sea Blue pale due to out of stock.

Hmm I was going to call tomorrow to ask ! I hear it’s a good salt and would probably be a good runner up to IO for the price

Anyone else use it ? I know @Shooter000 said he did , is the only difference between red and blue box is alk?

Forget the price to be honest.

I got the blue box, mixes fast and seems to be fine so far.

Ya just the alk is higher in the redline, mixes quick, reef looks much better since switching over as well

really eh ? Hard to believe when you tank always looks awesome .
I figure you’re dosing less aswell now ?

They deliver, and always seem to have stock.

This is the issue with the fancy schmancy brands, and something I discovered early on. A store will get you onto the "newest and greatest" new salt, then have something completely different next year, etc etc. RC has been available for years and years, and anyone that tells you that you can't grow a wicked tank of coral with it......is probably trying to sell you some designer salt.

Big als kitchener sells Fritz blue box (all I asked , didn’t ask about the red box)
It’s $69.99 A box and they should have it they use it themselves for a while now. Might be making the switch when I run out of af reef salt .. it’s unfortunate this is happening and no one has answers :/

I found I use at least a 1/2 cup more of salt per 5g pail to mix the same as the aquavitro I used to use.
But at better than 1/2 the price.
