So if sticking with durso, what size plunbing do you need for the overflow? The box is 6×6. When measuring the size of pipe do u measure from inside to inside or outside to outside?

4 holes all 1" bulkheads if you have larger ones already use them for returns. Need a good gate valve preferable speers but brs econo is ok. Most stuff is available locally in stock except gate valve. Ball valves will work but gate is more precise that's all. I get most of my supplies from lowes or tsc and order parts from reefsupplies canada or brs. But now with our dollar so poor will be more canadian stores for sure. I have gotten some supplies from pets and ponds as well

This is my overflow box. From left to right the pipes are as follows dry emergency, full syphon and trickle.

Return is on the other side of the tank

All my piping goes straight up and straight down.

From front to back is trickle, full syphon with a gate valve for awesome control and the dry emergency in the back. My return runs straight up the other end of my sump. Hope this helps.
