I would keep an eye on ammonia levels and have a decent sized water change ready to go just incase.

Ok almost 1 week and the bloom has begun. Micro bubbles everywhere. Both light brown and green algae on sand and glass. Just hoping it's only diatom and not Dinoflagellates. Hooked up a 55 W uv light to sump to help it along this cycle. Ordered a jebao rw 15 so it should help with the flow this tank will need.

This hobby brings out the best in people, doesn't it? I think because there is so much to learn (and buy!) we feel the need to help out when we can. I've met so many nice (and generous) people since being involved in reefing!

Time for an updated FTS. Had a nitrate issue and have done some dosing to get it down. Corals seem to be responding better. Still waiting on the Green Sinularia and leather to open up fully. However they are new additions from last Friday so it may take a bit.

Leathers can be fussy and act up if they are not happy. Leave it alone it will come around. I have a leather changed the lights and it had a fit. Its now gone from a darker red to a weird Pink. Its getting too big same with the open brain I have.
